Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has officially introduced the Honda Rebel 500, marking a new milestone in its premium motorcycle offerings. The cruiser is priced at ₹5.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram) and will be available exclusively at the BigWing Topline dealerships located in Gurugram, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Bookings have already begun, and deliveries will start from June 2025.
Classic Bobber-Inspired Design with a Modern Appeal
The 2025 Honda Rebel 500 draws heavy inspiration from traditional bobber motorcycles. With its low-profile stance, matte black color scheme, and a sloped fuel tank, the bike radiates a classic charm. The wide handlebars, fat tyres, and minimalistic bodywork give it a raw and custom-built appearance that appeals to cruiser enthusiasts.
Performance Backed by a Refined Parallel-Twin Engine
Powering the Honda Rebel 500 is a 471cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine equipped with 8 valves. It delivers a peak output of 45.6 hp at 8,500 rpm and 43.3 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Built for strong mid-range torque, the motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The exhaust is tuned to produce a deep, rumbling sound, adding character to the ride.

Comfort and Control for Everyday Riding
The bike is constructed around a steel tubular chassis, accompanied by Showa front telescopic forks and twin rear shock absorbers. For braking, it features a 296 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, both equipped with dual-channel ABS. The low seat height of 690 mm ensures easy reach for shorter riders, making it a practical cruiser for urban as well as highway use.
Modern Tech Wrapped in Retro Aesthetics
Despite its retro theme, the Honda Rebel 500 doesn’t compromise on modern equipment. It includes all-LED lighting, featuring a classic round headlight, and a digital LCD display that replaces conventional dials. The bike rides on Dunlop tyres, sized 130/90-16 at the front and 150/80-16 at the rear, offering stability and grip across different terrains.

Limited Launch Locations, Online Booking Available
The motorcycle is currently being offered in a single variant, finished in Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic. At launch, it will only be sold in three cities, but interested buyers can also place orders through the official Honda BigWing India website.
