India’s two-wheeler market witnessed intense competition in November 2025, driven by festive demand, improving rural buying sentiment, and growing interest in premium motorcycles. Despite the challenging environment, Hero MotoCorp once again secured the No. 1 position in retail sales, staying ahead of Honda, TVS, Bajaj, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, and Yamaha.
The data is based on FADA’s retail report.
Hero MotoCorp Maintains Strong Lead Despite Slight Dip
Hero MotoCorp topped the charts with 8,86,002 units sold, holding a 34.8% market share.
Although the company recorded a 3.4% year-on-year decline, it remained comfortably ahead of competitors. Persistent demand for mass-market models such as the Splendor, HF Deluxe, and the broader commuter lineup kept Hero firmly in control of the market.
Honda Retains Second Spot but Faces a YoY Decline
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India secured the second position with 6,06,284 units, capturing 23.8% market share.
Its sales marked a 7.74% drop from last year. The Activa series continued to anchor Honda’s performance, supported by the Shine range and expanding premium offerings. However, the brand’s EV segment could not mirror the success of its petrol-powered lineup.
