Royal Enfield is preparing to expand its 650 cc portfolio with the upcoming Bullet 650, a model that now elevates the iconic “Bullet” badge into a more premium segment. The motorcycle, first showcased globally at EICMA 2025 in Milan and later at MotoVerse 2025 for Indian audiences, is expected to reach showrooms in the coming months. Industry speculation suggests the bike may be positioned just below the Classic 650 Twin, making it the new entry point into the 650 cc range.
Powered by RE’s Proven 648 cc Parallel-Twin Engine
At the heart of the Bullet 650 is the familiar 647.95 cc parallel-twin engine, the same unit powering the brand’s flagship 650 models. The motor delivers 47 hp and 52.3 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch as standard. Despite technological upgrades, Royal Enfield has preserved the Bullet’s signature old-school character—something long-time fans will appreciate.
Global Colour Options Expected for India as Well
In international markets like the USA and UK, the Bullet 650 has been revealed in classic finishes such as Cannon Black and Battleship Blue. These paint schemes are likely to be offered in India too. Pricing is expected to start at around ₹3.60 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it within reach of riders looking for a premium retro-roadster.

Classic Bullet Styling with Modern Touches
Royal Enfield has retained the heritage design cues that define the Bullet line. The motorcycle features a broad, rounded fuel tank with traditional hand-painted pinstripes, chrome mudguards reminiscent of older models, and the iconic pilot lamps flanking the headlight. While the lighting setup incorporates modern LED components, the overall glow and structure stay true to the original Bullet’s visual identity.
Updated Braking and Wider Tyres for Better Stability
Braking duties are handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 300 mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS. The Bullet 650 also gets wider tyres—100/90 at the front and 140/70 at the rear—giving it a more substantial road presence than the Bullet 350.
The motorcycle weighs 243 kg and measures over 2.3 metres in length. Other key dimensions include 154 mm ground clearance, 800 mm seat height, and a 14.8-litre fuel tank.
Traditional Suspension Setup with RE’s Signature Ride Quality
The Bullet 650 uses a steel twin-downtube frame, supported by telescopic front forks with 120 mm travel and twin shock absorbers at the rear offering 90 mm movement. The bike rides on a 19-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, maintaining the upright stance and composed handling characteristics the Bullet name is known for.
