Royal Enfield is all set to enter the electric motorcycle market with the launch of its first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6. Unveiled in concept form in February 2025, the Flying Flea C6 is expected to go on sale in Q4 FY2026 (January–March 2026). Following its debut, the brand will introduce its second EV, the S6 Scrambler.
Flying Flea C6 and S6 Currently Under Testing
Both electric models are currently in the testing phase. The Flying Flea C6 has already been spotted multiple times during road tests. Built on a forged aluminium frame, the C6 is likely to share its underpinnings and battery system with the S6. The battery is placed beneath the tank and includes visible cooling fins for temperature management.
While Royal Enfield hasn’t revealed detailed technical specs, the Flying Flea C6 is expected to deliver performance similar to a 300cc petrol motorcycle, with a claimed range of 100–150 km per charge. The S6 Scrambler will likely use the same battery setup.
Retro-Inspired Design Pays Tribute to WWII-Era Flying Flea
The Flying Flea C6 draws design inspiration from Royal Enfield’s historic WWII Flying Flea model. It features a round LED headlamp, round LED turn indicators, and classic girder forks. The slim, teardrop-style tank is framed at both ends, integrating into the battery housing at the front and flowing toward the seat.
With a clean side profile, the bike includes a single-piece seat, braced rear fender, and tail-mounted LED lights and indicators.

Chassis and Hardware Details
The Flying Flea C6 rides on 19-inch alloy wheels at both ends. The rear suspension uses a monoshock unit, and the drivetrain is based on a belt-drive system. On the other hand, the S6 Scrambler will feature long-travel USD forks, wire-spoke wheels, dual-purpose tyres, and a flat single-piece seat—making it suitable for both urban and off-road adventures.
Loaded with Smart Technology Features
Royal Enfield is equipping the Flying Flea C6 with a 3.5-inch round TFT touchscreen instrument cluster. This screen will offer smartphone connectivity, Google Maps integration, call and SMS alerts, remote lock/unlock, and ride telemetry data.
Charging flexibility is enhanced with three modes – Trickle, Standard, and Rapid. A wireless smartphone charger will also be available.

Safety and Ride Enhancing Features
The bike will come packed with advanced features including:
- Cruise control
- 2-level regenerative braking
- 3-level traction control system
- Dual-channel lean-sensitive ABS
- 5 riding modes: Eco, Rain, Tour, Performance, and Custom
These features are also expected to be offered on the Royal Enfield S6 Scrambler.
