Royal Enfield highlighted its growing global custom culture at the 33rd Annual Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2025, where the iconic motorcycle brand introduced two exclusive one-off builds — Vita and Carolina Reaper. The prestigious event, known for celebrating cutting-edge custom motorcycle craftsmanship, provided the perfect platform for Royal Enfield’s latest creations under its Custom World initiative.
Vita: A Handcrafted Custom Based on the Classic 650
One of the standout motorcycles at the show was Vita, a custom build inspired by the Royal Enfield Classic 650. The motorcycle was designed by renowned Japanese builders Yuichi Yoshizawa and Yoshikazu Ueda from Custom Works Zon, a Shiga-based workshop with international recognition in the custom bike scene.

Instead of modifying an existing frame, the builders engineered an entirely new hard-tail steel chassis, giving Vita a minimalist yet bold appearance. A traditional girder front fork adds a vintage touch, while massive 26-inch wheels bring a striking modern contrast.
What truly sets Vita apart is its use of mahogany wood detailing, paired with raw, unpainted aluminium body panels. This thoughtful blend of organic materials and exposed metal creates a strong visual identity, while keeping the 650cc twin-cylinder engine as the centerpiece of the design.
Carolina Reaper: Flat Track Inspired Guerrilla 450 Custom
Sharing attention with Vita was the Carolina Reaper, a dramatically different custom motorcycle built on the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 platform. This aggressive machine was crafted by Tokyo-based Cheetah Custom Cycles, led by artist and builder Toshiyuki Osawa.
Drawing inspiration from 1970s American flat track racing, the Carolina Reaper combines elements of classic race motorcycles with design cues from vintage race cars. Displayed alongside flat track racers at the event, the custom bike reflects a strong racing DNA.
Unlike the retro styling of Vita, the Carolina Reaper features a race-focused stance, sharp proportions, and minimalist detailing. The design emphasizes speed, aggression, and performance, making it look as much like a race concept as a piece of mechanical art.

Royal Enfield Showcases Customization Potential
By presenting two vastly different motorcycles at the Yokohama show, Royal Enfield demonstrated the versatility of its motorcycle platforms and the creative freedom it offers custom builders worldwide. From the heritage-inspired Classic 650 to the modern Guerrilla 450, both Vita and Carolina Reaper reflect how Royal Enfield motorcycles can be transformed into unique expressions of design and performance.
These one-off builds reinforce Royal Enfield’s commitment to the global custom community and underline the brand’s vision of blending tradition with innovation in the world of motorcycling.
