Samsung is reportedly gearing up to unveil its latest foldable smartphones — the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, and a new affordable variant, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE — at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, expected to take place on July 4, 2025.
Although the company has not made an official announcement, various online leaks and concept renders have revealed significant details about these upcoming models, including design upgrades, internal specifications, and expected pricing.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 May Become Samsung’s Slimmest Foldable
Recent leaks suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could feature a more refined and slimmer design than its predecessors. The device may include a triple rear camera aligned vertically, along with a newly positioned flash module, hinting at the possibility of an upgraded primary sensor, potentially up to 200MP.
Reports claim that the Fold 7 might be the thinnest foldable phone in the market at the time of launch, with a thickness of just 3.9mm when open and 8.9mm when folded. It is also expected to pack a 4,400mAh battery, run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, and offer 12GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 May Come with Bigger Displays and Battery
The Galaxy Z Flip 7, Samsung’s upcoming clamshell-style foldable, could receive a major design improvement with a larger outer display, which may expand from 3.4 inches to 4 inches. The internal screen is also likely to be slightly bigger at 6.85 inches, enabled by narrower bezels.
Depending on the region, the device could be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset or Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor. The Flip 7 is expected to house 12GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, and a 4,300mAh battery. Camera configuration may include a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP selfie shooter.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE: Samsung’s First Budget Foldable
In a move to make foldables more accessible, Samsung might debut a Fan Edition variant of the Flip series. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is likely to carry the same folding design as the premium Flip model but with downgraded internal hardware.
Spec leaks indicate the use of the Exynos 2400 chipset, paired with a dual 12MP camera setup. Positioned as a mid-range offering, the Flip 7 FE aims to bring the foldable experience to a wider audience.
Expected Pricing and Launch Details
According to industry insiders, all three foldable models may be revealed during Samsung’s second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2025, set for July 4.
